About the Artwork

At the beginning of existence, within the vortices of eternity, when good and evil were not yet named, there was a single soul. However, this soul knew it had to split in two to know and understand itself, and so, in the middle of eternity, the soul split in two. On the left, the Spirit of Goodness appeared, born from the serenity and wisdom of the universe. Its body bore the blue of deep oceans and clear skies. The spirals in its background were the orderly, harmonious, and calm breathing of the universe. A sun shone in its chest; this was the symbol of creativity, compassion, enlightenment, and unconditional love. It was the builder, the protector, and the unifier. On the right, the Spirit of Evil took shape, born from pink-red, the color of chaos, passion, and raw energy. It was the representative of destruction, selfishness, and desire. The spirals in its background were the vortices of uncontrolled energy, endless hunger, and constant change. The flower-like vortex in its chest was the center of that insatiable desire that draws everything to itself, consumes, and transforms. It was the destroyer, the separator, and the questioner. These two opposing souls were not doomed to remain apart forever. Because they were two halves of the same whole. A bridge woven by fate stretched between them. The golden thread of this bridge represented their divine bond that would never break, the immutable law that they came from the same source. The pink thread symbolized the constant interaction between them, the flow of emotion and energy that allowed them to sense each other's existence. They touched each other through this bridge. And from this touch, the greatest miracle of existence was born: Life. This work shows us how these two forces define each other and how they need each other. Separately, they are just halves; but when they come together, they form that perfect whole spinning within eternity, that is, existence itself.
