Trojan Horse: Anatomy of Deception

This is not a living, breathing horse; this is a wooden monument to reason and cunning. The scribbled texture in the background represents the noise, fatigue, and despair of the years-long Trojan War. But the horse's real secret is the mystery it carries within. They are the building blocks of this trick. The blue circle is the color of strategy, Odysseus' intelligence, and perhaps the fate that brought them across the seas. The red square, with the warrior silhouette inside, clearly reveals the true intention at the heart of this gift: war, blood, and death. The green triangle represents the Trojans' hope, the land they thought they would conquer, or perhaps the jealousy upon which this trick was built. The white rectangle, with the faint sketch and two dots inside, symbolizes the most secret, cold-blooded form of this plan, that deadly potential not yet set in motion. And that sharp, dark blue line cutting the entire image vertically... These are the walls of Troy, thought to be impenetrable. As the horse crosses this line, it is actually crossing not a city, but a line of destiny. That line is the thin border between peace and destruction, between the moment thought to be victory and absolute defeat. This work shows us how a deception is constructed, and how the darkest intentions can be hidden within the brightest gifts.
